Python Job: Lead Software Developer

My client, a leading provider of Cloud and Security Solutions who have been providing services to large international clients for over a decade, are looking for a Lead Python developer to join their growing team.

The Job

As part of their team you will be responsible for designing data structures for a

large distributed system and APIs that frontend interfaces can use to interact with

that system. You’ll develop software to automate a range of internal

processes and to produce live data and statistics across the system. You’ll be responsible for implementing new frontend interfaces according to existing templates.

They are looking for someone who is able to make independent technical

design decisions, have a strong sense of attention to detail and personal

responsibility. Good technical communication is also essential.

The role will involve designing and coding APIs. Designing and implementing Database designs. Designing JS frontend libraries. Developing new dynamic interfaces.

Experience Needed

5+ years experience designing and implementing database-backed software systems.

Hands in experience with:

• Python

• Django framework

• RESTful API Design Experience

• Javascript

• Relational Database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc…)

• Linux experience

Desirable to have vue.js framework but not a ‘must have’

Based in Dublin 18 (Sandyford, Dublin). Salary €80-100k – but open, dependent on candidate’s experience. Permanent Role.
